AIM : To find the hydrology of the given raster data
MATERIAL USED : ArcMap 10.2 → click blank → ok
PROCEDURE
1.Open ArcMap 10.2 → click on blank template → hit ok
2.Add image → select image → ok (both, cdnc43 and tvmdist)
To extract the part of polygon from the shapefile: Right click on the layer→ export date →
Export data (all features) → Add amp as layer
3.To extract raster image: Open ArcToolbox → spatial analyst tool → extraction → extraction by mask
(If tool not eppears, customized → extension →check all the features)
Input – cdnc43r image
Input features – TVM image
Output – hydrology folder →tvmdem.tif
4.Spatial analyst tool → hydrology
a)Fill
Input – tvmdem
Output – fill
b)Flow direction
Input – Fill
Output – flowdirr
c) Flow accumulation
Input – flowdirection
Output – flowaccu
5.To merge river basins
Spatial tool → map algebra → raster calculator
Double click on flowaccu → name > 500
Output – flowOutput
6.Spatial tool → hydrology → stream order
Input – FlowOutput
Input flow direction – flowdirection
Output – StreamOrd
7.Stream to feature
Spatial tool → hydrology → stream to feature
Input – StreamOrd
Input flow – FlowDirr
Output – StreamVector
8.To get the steam orders
Stream feature → right click → properties → symbology → category → grid code → add all values → apply → ok
next
9.To separate basins
Spatial tool → hydrology → basin
Input – flowdirr
Output – basin
10.To make watershed
Spatial tool→ Hydrology → watershed
Input—FlowDirr
Input Raster – StreamOrd
Output—watershed1
RESULTS
