AIM:
The project purpose is to find suitable site for hospital purpose to be constructed for backward community living in the highland of palakkad district of Kerala. Government has already taken some bold measures to provide the health service coverage to this community. And also initiated various test for uplifting the society as well as cultural life apart from the health department (they have already constructed health center in this area) department such as agriculture and development has constantly giving them awareness of planned cultivation of various type of food grains. Because of this reason previous year , goog numbers of this community has migrated to the lowland area and started cultivation and were settled permanently in that locality.
Again the health department has decided to constructed one or more health centers in this locality.
After this project we will get a suitable site for the health centers.

1.Open ArcMap 10.2 → click on blank template → hit ok/ double click
2.To add image : Add data → locate image → ok
(Add date for landuse , elevation, settlement, hospital)
3.Derive the dataset
a.For hospital
Spatial analyst → distance → Eculidean distance
Input – Hospital
Output – Hospital_dist
Environment – processing extend – change extend into same as elevation
Outcomes:
b.For settlement
Spatial analyst → distance → Euclidean distance
Input – settlement
Output – settle_dist
Outcomes:
c.For elevation or slope
Spatial analyst → surface → slope
Input → elevation
Output →slope_elev
Environment → output coordinate → set as specific below
Change special reference : Project coordinate system → UTM → WG1984 → Northern Hemispheres → 43N
